TOP TEN - MAY EDITION

  1. Ariana Grande – “No Tears Left To Cry”

She lowered her signature high ponytail on the track’s cover photo so you KNOW it’s going to be a good one. Queen Ariana didn’t miss a beat on this come back single in her usual upbeat, diva pop fashion. Get ready to sing it all summer.

  1. Mat Kearney – “Kings & Queens”

Our favorite track from the album CRAZYTALK which has all sorts of contagious beats that we’re living for. It’s been 3 years since his last album JUST KIDS so this was extremely anticipated. Featuring collabs with AFSHeeN, Filous, and RAC it’s packed with good stuff!

  1. Shawn Mendes – “Youth” ft. Khalid

Mendes and Khalid teamed up to make the ultimate summer anthem. The lyrics are super powerful and with graduation in full swing this song has us in all the feels. But it’s a jam that will resonate with both millennials and their Moms.

  1. Jessie Reyez – “Body Count”

She’s back with a brand new single and it’s fun-loving and makes light of an ancient double standard. It’s super easy to jam along to and we think it cures the Sunday scaries and makes a Monday feel like a Friday. We’re loving the funky instrumentals and Reyez’s colorful vocals.

  1. Aurora – “Queendom”

All hail the queen for this pop banger. She describes it as “a song where all that has been silent can sing, all that has been weak can fight back and all that has been suppressed can be seen. It’s a song about my own little world. My queendom.” What a powerful message of self-empowerment and acceptance with an equally stunning music video to match!

  1. Alison Wonderland – “High” ft. Trippie Red

This is our favorite track from Wonderland’s latest album Awake. If you caught her killer set at Coachella, you know she gives nothing but energy and spunk and her new album Awake is no different. Fun fact about the Australian DJ, she claims to have eaten 589 slices of pizza. Definitely our kind of girl!

  1. Parcels – “Tieduprightnow”

This disco-pop track screams summer people. The band from Berlin went back to their hometown of Byron Bay in Australia to channel some old school beach vibes in their video for the track. If anyone knows where we can get one of those bathing suits, let us know.

  1. The Decemberists – “Severed”

It’s our favorite track off of their latest album I’ll Be Your Girl which is new stuff for the band. They take their signature folk-rock sound and add in some elements of synthpop, we’re not mad about it!

  1. Drake – “Nice For What”

Champangpapi made an anthem for the ladies preaching “you gotta be nice for what?” that lit up the internet. The video directed by 22-year-old Karena Evans features powerhouse women like Rashida Jones, Tiffany Haddish, Issa Rae, and Olivia Wilde. Can he do anything wrong? We didn’t think so.

  1. Louis The Child – “Better Not” ft. Wafia

Right before they set it off on stage at Coachella they released this banger. The drops are in classic Louis The Child style, and it was written and recorded in a day the duo says. We love everything they put out, like they could drop a track of them banging on a Little Tikes xylophone and it would still slap.

Bonus: Bishop Briggs & King Kavalier – “River” King Kavalier Remix

Bishop Briggs recently dropped her album Church Of Scars and rock EDM duo, King Kavalier put their own spin on it. The guitar riffs paired with future bass complement each other crazy well. We promise you’ll have it on repeat all summer!
